How to Make Argo Pepper Poppers
Ingredients
Peppers
Cream Cheese
Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
Panko
Flour
Eggs
Salt & pepper
Other seasonings (if desired)
Ranch dressing (or marinara sauce)
First, accidentally cross-pollinate at least 6 different kinds of peppers.
In one bowl, mix together flour, panko and seasonings.
In another bowl, break up an egg.
In another bowl, mix together shredded Pepper Jack and cream cheese with salt, pepper and any other seasonings.
Slit peppers lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes. Fill with cheese mixture.
Dip filled peppers in egg, then the panko mixture.
Place on sheet pan and freeze for two hours.
Deep fry until panko is golden, peppers are cooked and cheese is melted.
Serve with ranch dressing or marinara sauce.
